The ORCA Modtreme 4 M4 8.5T Sensored Brushless Motor is a next-generation competition motor designed to deliver smooth power, excellent efficiency and the precise throttle control required for serious RC racing.

Developed for 1/10 scale touring cars and off-road racing vehicles, the Modtreme 4 uses a hand-wound stator and optimised 12.1mm rotor. Its sensored operation provides smooth startup and accurate power delivery throughout the RPM range, helping drivers maintain control through technical corners and low-grip sections.

The redesigned motor housing provides improved cooling while reducing overall weight by approximately 3% compared with the previous generation. ORCA has repositioned the solder terminals further inward, moving the motor’s mass closer to the vehicle’s centreline. This improves chassis balance and allows faster, more responsive left-to-right transitions.

Factory-installed titanium motor screws reduce weight at the highest point of the motor while offering excellent strength and durability. Standard 540-size dimensions provide compatibility with a wide variety of competition 1/10 scale RC chassis.

The 8.5-turn winding provides an excellent combination of speed, torque and manageable power delivery. It is ideal for modified racing applications where smooth control, consistency and efficiency are essential.
