MYLAPS RC4 3-Wire Personal Transponder

Record accurate lap times and race positions with the MYLAPS RC4 3-Wire Personal Transponder. Designed for RC racing, this compact and lightweight transponder connects directly to a spare receiver channel and transmits its unique seven-digit identification number whenever the vehicle crosses a compatible timing loop.

The RC4 transponder can be used for indoor and outdoor racing across a wide variety of surfaces. Its small dimensions and low weight make it suitable for many RC vehicles, including touring cars, buggies, trucks, large-scale models and selected racing boats.

Easy Installation

Connect the transponder to a spare receiver channel, such as channel three or the battery connection, and secure the supplied quick-change holder inside the vehicle.

For reliable detection, the transponder should be installed no more than 15cm above the track surface. Avoid mounting it directly against conductive materials such as carbon fibre or metal that may interfere with the signal.

Timing-System Compatibility

The standard RC4 3-Wire transponder is designed specifically for:

• MYLAPS RC4 timing systems
• RC4 decoders operating with compatible firmware

It is not compatible with older AMBrc2 or RC3 decoder systems. For tracks using older MYLAPS equipment, an RC4 Hybrid transponder may be required instead.
