The XRAY XT2C’28 is the latest generation of XRAY’s professional 1/10 scale 2WD electric stadium truck, engineered specifically for the high-grip demands of carpet and Astro racing. Developed from XRAY’s championship-winning off-road platforms, the XT2C combines precision CNC-machined components, extensive chassis tuning options and competition-focused suspension geometry to deliver maximum steering response, stability and corner speed.

The XT2C’28 is designed as a pure competition racing machine. Every area of the truck has been developed to provide racers with a highly adjustable platform that can be fine-tuned for different track layouts, grip levels and driving styles.

At the centre of the XT2C is a precision-machined aluminium chassis specifically designed for high-traction surfaces. The chassis provides the ideal balance of rigidity and controlled flex, giving the truck excellent responsiveness while maintaining predictable handling through fast direction changes.

XRAY’s chassis design also provides multiple tuning possibilities through optional chassis weights and flex adjustments. This allows racers to alter weight distribution and chassis characteristics without dramatically changing the basic setup of the truck.

The XT2C uses a rear-motor transmission layout optimised for carpet racing. Centralising the drivetrain components helps achieve excellent balance and provides the aggressive steering response and rotation required on modern high-grip tracks.

A lightweight gear differential is fitted as standard and has been designed for smooth, consistent operation. The differential can be easily accessed for maintenance and setup changes, allowing racers to quickly adjust the drivetrain between runs.

The slipper clutch system provides additional drivetrain protection and allows power delivery to be adjusted to suit track conditions. Fine adjustment helps control wheelspin and improves acceleration when using today's powerful modified and stock-class brushless motors.

The suspension system features XRAY's highly adjustable racing geometry, allowing extensive tuning of camber, toe, caster, roll centre, ride height and shock position. Precision composite suspension components provide low weight while maintaining the strength required for competitive racing.

Front suspension geometry has been developed to provide sharp initial steering while maintaining stability through high-speed corners. Adjustable steering components allow Ackermann and steering response to be tuned to suit different track conditions and driver preferences.

At the rear, the suspension has been designed to maximise traction while providing predictable rotation through corners. Multiple link mounting positions allow racers to adjust roll centre and camber gain, giving the XT2C a wide setup window for different carpet and Astro surfaces.

XRAY's aluminium oil-filled shock absorbers provide smooth and consistent damping. Precision-machined shock bodies, high-quality seals and carefully designed internal components minimise friction and provide repeatable suspension performance throughout a race meeting.

Threaded shock bodies make ride-height and spring preload adjustments quick and precise, while multiple shock mounting positions provide additional tuning possibilities.

The XT2C also incorporates adjustable anti-roll bar options, allowing chassis roll characteristics to be fine-tuned for different grip levels. This is particularly useful on high-traction carpet tracks where controlling weight transfer can significantly influence corner speed and consistency.

High-quality ball bearings are used throughout the drivetrain to minimise friction and maximise efficiency. Lightweight drivetrain components reduce rotating mass, improving throttle response and acceleration.

The motor position and electronics layout have been carefully considered to provide excellent weight distribution. Racers can position electronics and optional weights to alter the truck's balance and achieve the desired steering and rear traction characteristics.

As expected from XRAY, the XT2C’28 is manufactured using premium materials throughout. CNC-machined aluminium components, Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium parts, precision composite components and high-quality hardware provide the accuracy and durability required for serious competition.
