The HUDY 104500 Star-Box is a professional-quality starter box designed for 1/8 scale nitro off-road cars, truggies and GT cars.

Featuring a compact, low-profile design and powerful 775-type motor, the Star-Box provides reliable starting power for high-performance nitro engines.

The adjustable positioning posts allow the starter box to be configured to suit most popular 1/8 off-road chassis.

Powerful 775 Motor

The Star-Box uses a powerful 775-type motor with integrated cooling fan, providing plenty of torque for starting competition nitro engines.

A premium long-life belt drive transfers power smoothly to the starter wheel.

Adjustable for Buggy, Truggy & GT

The HUDY 104500 is designed for use with:

• 1/8 Nitro Buggy
• 1/8 Nitro Truggy
• 1/8 Nitro GT

Adjustable bracket posts allow the chassis position to be accurately set for correct alignment between the starter wheel and engine flywheel.

Higher plastic feet are also included for use with taller truggy chassis.

Left or Right Starter Wheel Position

The starter wheel can be installed on either the left or right side, providing compatibility with different engine and chassis layouts.

The quick-change design also allows the starter wheel to be removed by undoing just three screws.

Battery Options

The HUDY 104500 can be powered using:

• 2 × 7.2V standard NiMH stick packs
• 2 × 2S LiPo hardcase packs
• 1 × 4S LiPo pack

For a single 4S LiPo, HUDY specifies a maximum battery size of approximately 139 × 47 × 23mm.

Batteries are not included.
