2008 ELECTRIC OFFROAD VICTORIAN STATE TITLES.

The 2008 Electric VIC titles were held at the very impressive Mildura offroad track on the 23rd and 24th of August. This event attracted 145 entrants, all competing to become the 2008 Victorian champion in there respective classes.HEI had Team driver Ray Munday to represent our brands in 2wd Modified and 4wd modified. Ray did us proud by bringing home the Gold in 2wd, and a equal 3rd in 4wd which then on a count back decision placed him 4th overall. Ray also participated in the Demo J82 class, with 2wd Truck class. This class allows the us of Lipo batteries. Ray Top Qualified and won this class in commanding fashion. Ray Used many of HEI's products to help drive him to his win, but Ray made strong reference to the new 2.4ghz Ko Propo system."Awsome response, tiny receiver and easy to setup!" are the words Ray used to describe the new system.

2008 VORTEC ELECTRIC ON ROAD STATE TITLES

Simon Nicholson and Team Corally have done it again, winning this years Victorian state titles. The 2008 Victorian state titles were held at the Boronia RC Car Club. This track is known for being extremely tight and difficult to master. Simon put in a great effort to firstly Top Qualify in the elite Modified class, but then back it up with the overall win! Simon also chooses to power his RDX PHI with Team Orion Vortex motors and Fantom Team Batteries.
